The 40 series is the workhorse of the Cane Creek headset line. This series contains all the necessary properties to produce a durable, light and hard-wearing headset. The 40 tax rates strike a perfect balance between performance, durability and price.

Price-effective headset or separately available upper and lower parts made of 6061-T6 aluminum, worked out on the inside for minimal weight
The clip seal completely seals the upper components and accommodates the compression ring to reduce the number of loose individual parts
High quality low-friction seal at the bottom
Durable bearing cones
Reliable, sealed cartridge bearings
Interlok® spacer compatible
Application: marathon, all-round, dirt / street, fourcross, enduro, freeride, all-mountain, cyclocross, downhill
Construction heights: 8mm (short), 15mm (tall) above, 4mm below
ZS (Zero Stack): The bearings are in shells. The position of the bearings and the cups are inside the frame. The bowls are NOT VISIBLE.
