The substance that resists

The concept on which IvyTex is based has been used for years in industry in highly stressed areas where moving components have to be protected against wear.

ABUS takes advantage of this idea and uses it as a cover for chain locks. On the one hand, this increases protection against abrasion and, on the other hand, the cover protects the bike from damage from the chain. In addition to durability, other features speak in favor of IvyTex technology: the high-tech fabric is durable and highly flexible. It is weather-resistant and impervious to liquids. This will e.g. B. Water is not absorbed by the fabric and the locks are protected against corrosion. So there is no reason not to secure your bike in unfavorable weather for fear of dirt.
