ION E-Pact

ION's new youth collection includes everything young shredders need to tear through the park all day long. So it was only a logical step to offer the award-winning E-Pact especially for smaller riders.

The E-Pact is preformed at a flex angle of almost 90°. This fit avoids folds and the mesh material cutting into the crook of the arm and thus premature fatigue. Since freedom of movement is essential for intuitive steering manoeuvres, the E-PACT relies on a combination of viscoelastic foams and a hard shell. The hard shell takes the shock out of sharp stones, distributes the kinetic energy of an impact over a large area and, thanks to the thin padding used, makes the protector appear slim.

• Super_Perforator_Neoprene: Very flexible, particularly robust and, above all, very air-permeable neoprene. Of course not to be compared with mesh material, but in terms of neoprene it is the most air-permeable that ION currently uses
• SAS-TEC padding: SAS-TEC is an innovative, German manufacturer of particularly high-quality protectors. The company has a long history in motorcycle protective gear - and is your number one choice when it comes to dependable safety. In ION's protectors, they therefore often use three-dimensionally shaped protection pads made of viscoelastic foam with exceptionally high absorption properties
• Power_Aramid: Power_Aramid is a synthetic fiber originally developed by DuPont. It is now used in a variety of ways, for example in bulletproof helmets, tires and bowstrings. The material offers outstanding qualities in terms of tear and abrasion resistance. And is therefore perfect for protectors
• Lightweight_EVA side padding: Closed cell foam provides lightweight and flexible protection where you need it
• Air_Prene: Neoprene is quite versatile: it even absorbs the impact energy of a fall to a certain extent. The lightweight Airprene_Padding is perforated for better air permeability to prevent overheating underneath
