The ABUS Safe Code 78 padlock can be operated like a safe by turning the number ring. The housing is KTL-coated (coating is done by cathodic dip painting) for a high level of corrosion protection, the bracket is made of hardened steel. The lock is particularly suitable for locking cupboards, lockers, switchgear, etc. Operating the padlock without a key using a numeric code is particularly practical. The preset numerical code consists of 3 digits. In the Super Code 78KC version, the integrated master key function of the lock ensures that the lock can be opened with a master key. For example, several padlocks can be accessed by different people using a numeric code and a higher-level person can operate all the locks with the master key.
