With its completely fun mixed-wheel trail geometry, the Status is equipped with no superfluous frills and impresses with the FSR rear triangle system, which is made of Specialized's durable and resistant M5 aluminum. Not only does it take a beating, it keeps asking for more
The Fox Float Rhythm with Grip damper offers an impressively controlled handling with a lot of trail feeling. The two-position sweep adjustment ensures that the FLOAT 36 Rhythm utilizes the 160 mm travel in almost any terrain, while 36 mm stanchions promise a lot of stiffness for precise handling at the limit
The high-quality chassis generates enormous speed on the trail. In order to be able to slow this down again, Specialized has installed the proven Code R brakes from SRAM on the bike. Forged four-piston calipers offer high stopping power, while 200 mm brake discs front and rear make fading a thing of the past
