The new SLX comes with either a two-piston brake for the cross-country range or a four-piston brake for trail / enduro. The new design of the brake lever, which is mounted at an angle, supporting itself at two points on the handlebars and thus significantly increasing the rigidity, provides more direct feedback and more braking power, which is still supported by the SERVO WAVE technology. The braking systems are characterized by faster response higher performance and a shorter free travel.
