The 40 Series is the workhorse of the Cane Creek headset line. This series includes all the necessary features to produce a durable, light and hard-wearing headset. The 40 series headsets strike a perfect balance between performance, durability and price. The 40 series offers a range of configurations through individual upper and lower parts. Almost any standard steerer tube and head tube combination can be used. The adapter enables forks with a 1 1/8" steerer tube to be installed in frames that are intended for 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" (tapered) forks. Bearings and cone rings are not included.
