VAUDE Virt II Softshell

With these technical soft shell pants you drive to your performance limit. The warming, environmentally friendly manufactured softshell material is 100% windproof and reaches over the knee. The tight-fitting lower leg section is also windproof at the front and made of stretchy Lycra® material at the back. Side 2-way zips make it easier to get in, allow you to wear protective pads and also serve as ventilation. The width-adjustable waistband is cut higher at the back and equipped with elastic inserts so that it fits snugly and protects the sensitive kidney area at the same time. This product is made with eco-friendly, water-repellent Eco Finish without fluorocarbons (PFC).

Eco Finish: Environmentally friendly water repellent
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to impregnate the outer fabric. They have come under criticism because they are considered non-degradable, accumulate in the body and are suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to avoid using PFCs entirely.

VAUDE uses recycled materials, eg from PET bottles, to manufacture this product. This saves you up to 50% energy and CO2 emissions as well as fossil raw materials.

stretch
The high elasticity of the material is achieved through the elastane content and the knitted and woven construction. This offers maximum freedom of movement.

Combined windproofness
Windproof Pro is the combination of two different material technologies. VAUDE uses 100% windproof, robust and 80% windproof, breathable materials. You place these strategically on the body in such a way that the performance of the mountaineer and biker is optimally supported.
