Size-dependent geometry and frame stiffness

Chainstay length and seat tube angle are matched to frame size (the seat tube angle steepens and the rear end grows as the frame size increases), so that every rider, regardless of their height, gets the same balanced geometry for the best handling. And because larger riders cause greater loads, Santa Cruz adjusts stiffness for each frame size. This is how they ensure that every driver gets the same, perfect ride quality.

120mm VPP™ travel

For some it's (too) little spring travel, for others everything they need. With 120mm, you don't spring into the roughest rock field as carelessly as with its long-travel friends, but as soon as it's about making real trail meters and chasing rapidly through the terrain, the Tallboy is in its element.

Fleet chassis

The Tallboy is quite progressive. Due to the low transmission ratio at the beginning of the suspension travel, the chassis responds very well. At the back it remains defined and controllable and conveys a direct but pleasant driving experience.

By significantly reducing the maximum anti-squat value (compared to previous Tallboy generations), Santa Cruz has significantly reduced the interaction between chassis and drivetrain while greatly improving responsiveness. Since the anti-squat values correlate with the anti-rise value, they were also able to reduce this and minimize the braking effects on the new Tallboy.

• Glovebox: Pack everything you need under the solid flap in your down tube. The bike comes standard with "Tool Wallet" and "Tube Purse". So you have everything quickly at hand
