The E-BLOCK switching technology is a fundamental new development for derailleurs. On the E-BLOCK ™ cassette, the chain has a fixed link position on each pinion. The pinions are designed to work with inner and outer links. This allows optimum switching performance inwards and outwards. The result is precise and robust shifting in any situation, even with full engine assistance.
