Extreme R GTX

The X-Frame® system and the overlap construction of the upper shoe from a combination of the most innovative materials: to ensure the best possible foot-shoe fit. It enables perfect power transmission, enveloping the foot evenly and without pressure points, eliminating wasted energy and uncomfortable foot tingling, often caused by closure systems that cannot provide even pressure distribution.

An easy and consistent fit is ensured by the SLW2 twist lock system. As the only one of its kind, its micro-step grid ensures that the shoe is adjusted and adjusted with millimeter precision. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar in the entry area combines the extreme elasticity of the Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane with the high thermal insulation of the neoprene, thus increasing mobility and protection. The ergonomic heel shape with its anatomical fit thanks to the latest thermoforming technology in conjunction with Northwave's Arctic 4-layer insole made of EVA + aluminum and EVA + Pile ensures excellent thermal insulation. The 360° reflective inserts ensure more safety in poor visibility.

Goodbye pressure points! The X-Frame® system was developed for the best possible foot-shoe fit. In this way, every watt of power is transmitted directly. The design of the upper, the precisely positioned lacing and the high-strength Dyneema cable with the SLW2 twist lock allow for a complete and consistent fit: this is the X-Frame® revolution.

SLW2 Closing System
The micrometric SLW2 (Speed Lace Winch) system with the innovative micro-step closure allows you to adjust the fit in a few moments intuitively and with the utmost precision. The side button offers a dual function: when pressed, it offers a gradual, micrometric release, while when fully lifted, the shoe opens completely.
